Love a tiramisu? Can't go past a choc-covered coffee bean? We've got a new treat option for the coffee-flavour fans from beloved local dairy company Lewis Road — and it looks set to be another sell-out.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock you've probably heard of Lewis Road: the brand has become synonymous with cult favourites and record sellouts. Who can forget the security-guarded supermarket aisles during the Great Artisanal Chocolate Milk Frenzy of 2014, the summer of 2017 when we all got buzzed on bottles of chocolate cream liqueur, or last year's icy cold gin and lemon creation?

Whether you can't live without your daily flat white or you're one of those rare creatures who still enjoys a tall cold glass of milk, you'll be thrilled to hear that this week the dairy geniuses have released a new coffee-infused flat white milk. With actual flat whites around Auckland going up to a slightly astronomical $6 per takeaway, banging down a glass of this in the morning might be a more economical way to get your coffee fix.

Each bottle contains a blend of Brazilian Arabica coffee, along with some sweetness and creamy whole milk – already blended and ready to drink. Basically, it's like a gourmet version of a classic Nippy's – which we still have a lot of time for, of course.

As it's already blended we think it's a great option for taking camping or to the beach this summer — or just pour it over ice and take an aesthetic pic in your kitchen if that's more your jam.

You can find Lewis Road Creamery's new flat white milk at supermarkets around the country, where it will set you back $4.50 for a 300ml bottle or $6.90 for a 750ml bottle.
