This New Auckland Eatery Is Slinging Heat and Eat Hot Dog Kits
They come with everything you need to create five chilli cheese dogs.
Good Dog Bad Dog is a new hot dog project from the team behind Newmarket's Candy Shop and Parnell's Simon & Lee. Following several pop-up events, the outfit is preparing to set up shop inside Queen Street's Commercial Bay development. While the opening date for the mammoth multimillion-dollar transportation hub and sprawling food hall has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still get your mitts on the eatery's delicious creations via heat and eat meal kits.
Previous events have seen GDBD serve up plant-based dogs with shiitake mushroom and truffle bechamel, and meaty frankfurter creations topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and special sauce. The chilli cheese dog is another star of the show with mouthwatering additions like beef mince and cheddar. Good Dog Bad Dog's meal kits will provide you with everything you need to create five chilli cheese dogs — to exact GDBD standards.

For $50, each kit includes the eatery's signature chilli mince, cheese sauce, frankfurters, buns and coleslaw. Delivery — every Thursday and Friday — stretches from the inner city to the surrounding suburbs, from Newmarket and Parnell, to Kingsland and Mt Eden, and then Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Herne Bay — plus lots of spots in-between.
Good Dog Bad Dog's heat and eat meal kits are now available. Visit gooddogbaddog.co.nz for more information.
