C1 Espresso is a Christchurch institution. Housed in the old High Street post office, this cafe is an experience you won't want to miss. The muffins are the best in town, but if you really want something to write home about, pour yourself a glass of water from a an old repurposed sewing machine and get your food delivered to your table via pneumatic tubes. Choose your sliders from the four meat and three vegan options, order a side of curly fries and wait for them to come to you via the tubes running along the ceiling. C1 is also one of those places where a trip to the bathroom is essential to check out the decor and features.
