You don't have to leave the city to find incredible thrills when Skywalk exists.

Here, a slightly unnerving platform wraps around the top of Auckland's Sky Tower – New Zealand's tallest building – to offer a gravity-defying perspective from 192 metres above the ground.

While you're secured with a rope from above, there are no handrails to white-knuckle, making the 360-degree views more immersive and the distance to the tarmac that much scarier.
