Overview
There's so much information about wellness nowadays, and an even bigger list of cutting-edge fitness trends, that it's hard to know whether you should be signing up for hot yoga, high-intensity circuits, virtual cycling, pilates, ballet barre, boxing, or even stand up paddle boarding. Now you can say yes to all of the above as US fitness membership network ClassPass lands in Auckland.
The app (available on both iTunes and Android) allows users to mix up their fitness regime with access to classes across the city. ClassPass already has more than 75 Auckland studios signed up, including District Fitness, Urban Ashram, Habitat for Fitness, Kia Kaha Studios, Reform Fitness, Deedy Studio, Sweat Yoga, Wreck Room and Wild Pilates. Users can participate in any class on the ClassPass network.
Founded in New York, the fitness membership currently features more than 12,000 fitness studios in 60 cities worldwide. Users can take a class in any studio on the ClassPass network across the world, with classes ranging from yoga, pilates, and barre to running, strength training, dance, boxing, Zumba and martial arts.
ClassPass is currently offering the first month free for New Zealand users. The offer includes 100 credits to book 16-25 classes. Thereafter the service is $50-120 per month, which includes between 2-15 classes. For more information and to view the full list of studios, visit classpass.com.
