Darling Harbour nightclub Home the Venue is swapping the sticky dance floor for sticky sheets. It's making its triumphant post-COVID-19 comeback this March, but instead of letting revellers dance on vodka cranberry-covered floors, it's letting them party in queen-sized beds.

Launching just in time for this year's Mardi Gras celebrations, In Bed @ Home has transformed the entire nightclub's dance floor into a bed-filled lounge. Partygoers will be offered a 'bedside' drinks service while they enjoy a lineup of interactive cabaret, burlesque and "gender-bending" underground performances.

On Saturday, March 6, the new bed-filled venue will host the Mardi Gras Slumber Party. Doors open at 4pm, with $5 happy hour from 4–6pm (house spirits, wine and beer). Expect confetti and glitter aplenty, and come dressed in your most sparkly pyjamas, slippers and any other sleepwear you prefer to don. The event will by hosted by Brendan de la Hay and Twiggy Styx, and will feature music by James Alexandr and Banquet DJs.

Tickets start at $25 per person and $450 for a bed, which fits up to six people.
