Overview

Craft ACT is a non-profit in the heart of Canberra's north that's all about supporting and showcasing local Aussie artists, designers, makers and craft practitioners. There is a range of exhibitions to peruse that put innovation and contemporary craft on show and events on the calendar to partake in. There's also a large retail space where you can grab a bespoke something something on your way out, including glass, ceramics, homewares, jewellery, books and textiles. Perfect if you have a loved one's birthday coming up.

The centre is conveniently located on level 1 of the North Building at London Circuit, making it perfect to stop into if you're hanging out around Canberra Central – although well worth a trip there just for the exhibitions, too.
