Guys, we need to take better care of ourselves. With today's stresses, especially the squinting at the screen while liking, tweeting, and pinning the shit out of cool things, we quite easily lose focus on the important task of taking care of oneself. This was highlighted to me when I caught up with ex Black Cap Dion Nash, whom after being involved with numerous business successes in New Zealand, has decided to dig his pores into Triumph & Disaster, a range of premium men's grooming products.

Triumph & Disaster have kindly offered our Concrete Playground readers the opportunity to win one of five Triumph & Disaster gift packs.

To enter, make sure you are subscribed to Concrete Playground, then email [email protected] with 'TRIUMPH' in the subject line by Monday 21 May 2012, 5pm. The winner will be notified by email soon after.

To round off the article, I thought I would list off some key stats about Triumph & Disaster and it's founder:

  1. Triumph & Disaster comes from the Rudyard Kipling poem 'IF' which speaks of the things it takes to be a man. True that.
  2. No parabens, petrochemicals or silicones are used in Triumph & Disaster products. Perfect.
  3. All products are derived from nature, engineered with science. Nice.
  4. There is a joke listed on Wikipedia about Dion Nash. It goes: "Q: What's the difference between a New Zealand cricketer and a bolt of lightning? A: One's a Dion Nash, the other's a Neon Dash." Ha.
  5. Triumph & Disaster is currently available in stores such as The Department Store and Black Box.
  6. Keep an eye on your product, as Concrete Playground tests have confirmed that girlfriends will use your Triumph & Disaster, it is that good.
