Brilliant Free Things to Do in Wellington This April

Luckily, life doesn't have to be stingy just because you are.

It's about time we all just settle in and take a free Wellington staycation for once. Let's be honest, summer was hella expensive, man. Luckily, life doesn't have to be stingy just because you are.

This April you could be doing a crash course in star photography, visiting a comic book convention, cheering on the competitors of the 2015 world waterski racing championship (yes, it's a thing), and taking a moment to remember the ANZACs - all without throwing away a single dime.

Over the week commemorating World War 1 there are scheduled light and sound shows to be projected onto the war memorial buildings’ various walls. The presentation will be projected onto the Dominion Museum and the Carillion each night, looping a dramatic light and sound show every fifteen minutes.
