Cocktail of the Weekend: The Bow St. Monk

A variation of a Foxtail classic, the Incan Smoking Jacket (which uses Chilean pisco instead of whiskey as a base), Duncan Raley's Bow St. Monk is easy-to-prepare, stirred and strong. The sharp whiskey and elixir de ron combination makes for a perfect post-work fixer.

INGREDIENTS

30ml Jameson Whiskey
20ml Averna
10ml Elixir de Ron
5ml Maple Syrup
3 Dashes Grapefruit Bitters
Green Chartreuse Mist

METHOD

1. Stir and Strain over ice in chilled glass.
2. Use a grapefruit twist for garnish.
