Overview

Melbourne's favourite provider of designer chic has just set down its sixth pop-up on Flinders Lane. Unfortunately for lovers of local music, the store is taking residence in what was once Polyester Records' CBD location. Fortunately for lovers of local fashion and design, the pop-up is stunning and stocked with the best wares from the ever-inventive mind of Virginia Martin.

Designed by Mike McLeod, the new retail space is sparse and minimalist — an ode to the Japanese roots of this season's design. In fact, the store's entrance features fibres from a wooden boat used in the designer's travels around Japan's coast. Combining natural textures and geometric design, Martin's autumn collection featured in store is classic búl — simple and elegant. While you won't find that big cosy knit you've been searching for to stay warm, you'll definitely find something classy and loose to slouch around in this winter.

búl's Flinders Lane pop-up store will be open from May 16-July 12. Opening hours are Monday-Thursday: 10am-6pm; Friday: 10am-7pm; Saturday: 10am-6pm; Sunday: 11am-5pm.
