UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 23, 2020 — Left Bank has launched a pop-up terrace market that's open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am, and every Friday from 3–8pm, throughout lockdown. As well as takeaway coffee, gelato, cured meats, pies and fresh produce, it's selling its cocktails and cheese wheel pasta to-go. Yes, pasta served out of an entire wheel of cheese. But, remember, you can only visit it you live within five kilometres of Southbank.cp-line

When you're feeling a little bit fancy, Left Bank Melbourne offers pretty great views of the Yarra and the city skyline, with the cocktails and lounge vibes to match. This bar and restaurant is open from the early morning to late into the night with a wide-ranging menu to suit any occasion.

Kick the day off right with a fruity drink from the smoothie menu and a Glorious Breakfast Bowl of quinoa and wild rice topped with all that is green and good, including kale, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato crisps and a poached egg ($19). Or, if you're feeling a little more sinful, you can pair a dark chocolate waffle — plus caramelised banana, salted caramel and nougat ice cream ($18) — with a Breakfast Club Martini of bourbon and caramel liquor with lemon, honey and orange marmalade ($19).

Later, the kitchen pumps out extensive and seasonal lunch and dinner menus, featuring plenty of plant-blased dishes, pizza, steaks and fresh Aussie ingredients, with a long drinks list to boot. A separate cocktail bar has its own lush retreat space and 15 signature cocktails and modern takes on classic favourites.
