Baker's Dozen
Melbourne's best-loved bakers and pastry icons are coming together for a huge pop-up bake shop.
Imagine a two-day bake sale stocked with a heaving array of treats from some of the city's best-loved bakers, tart masters and pastry icons. Well, that's exactly what's in store for you when the inaugural Baker's Dozen takes over Fed Square as part of this year's Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
From Saturday, April 1–Sunday, April 2, you're invited to sink your sweet tooth into a one-stop pop-up shop showcasing mouthwatering wares from a lineup of legends. Expect everything from buns and babka, to croissants and canelés — with plenty of brand-new exclusive creations in the mix, too.

Lune
Among the culinary artists showing off their goods from 10.30am each day, you'll find Lune Croissanterie, Monforte, Tarts Anon, The Flour Melbourne and Black Star Pastry, to name a few. You could kick things off with a red sugar and black sesame palmier from Kudo, chase it with a boozy hot cross bun ice cream sandwich courtesy of Bread Club, roll into one of Holy Sugar's Basque cheesecakes and back that up with the sour cream chocolate cake with pretzel crumble that's been dreamt up by Mali Bakes.
Even savoury pastry fiends are in for a treat, with options like To Be Frank's pulled-pork croissant, and 'nduja, olive and pecorino twists from All Are Welcome. We suggest you bring your appetite.
