Melbourne's huge gaming and esports venue, Fortress, is up and running — and it wants to lure you out of the house. Yes, you can play both board games and video games at home. In fact, you've probably spent the last three months doing just that. But sitting on your own couch doesn't come with a bottomless feast, sadly.

As part of Fortress' new Boredomless events, the CBD spot is combining two hours of gaming with two hours of unlimited pizza and fries. You choose whether you'd rather roll dice or mash buttons, with the board game package costing $59 and the video game package coming in at $69. Whichever you opt for, you'll munch your way through all-you-can-eat slices and chips — and, to wash it down, you'll also get one round of drinks.

Sessions are available every Friday and Saturday night in July — kicking off at 4pm, with two-hour slots running until close at midnight.

If you choose board games, you'll score a private table. If you go for video games, you'll get a VIP booth. You will need to round up some mates to come with you, of course, with the Boredomless packages available for four-to-six people.

Fortress Melbourne's Boredomless sessions take place every Friday and Saturday night in July.
