Dromana Habitat Launch Party — POSTPONED

UPDATE Friday, February 24: The Dromana Habitat launch party has been postponed, with a new date to be announced shortly.

In case you hadn't heard, there's a new excuse to venture down the Mornington Peninsula in the hunt for top-notch artisan eats, drinks and other wares. And that's the newly-minted collective known as Dromana Habitat, comprising a bunch of makers and producers that call the Dromana Industrial Estate home.

Now the precinct is getting a proper welcome with a huge launch party at the nearby Dromana Drive-In on Saturday, March 4. Nab yourself a $15 ticket and head along for a close-up look at — and taste of — what's going down in this little pocket of the Peninsula.

All 15 Dromana Habitat makers and producers will be showing off their wares throughout the day, from Boatshed Cheese to Everwear Denim.

You can join Red Hill Candle Co for a hands-on candle-making workshop, or hone your green thumb at Verdant Dwellings' indoor plant care class. Then, sample the latest pours from booze-slinging residents like Jetty Road Brewery, Rhino Tiger Bear cellar door and award-winning distillery JimmyRum, check out the gluten-free range of drops making a name for themselves over at Two Bays Brewing, and swing by the legendary Bass & Flinders Distillery for a gin tasting.
