Overview

Fancy spending a day partying in a sprawling historic warehouse to sounds from one of the UK's most acclaimed DJs and producers? If so, you'd better clear your schedule for Untitled Group's upcoming Wool Store party.

Following a blockbuster debut event with Bosnian-German DJ Solomun last April, the minds behind Beyond the Valley and Pitch Music & Arts Festival will again transform the West Footscray Wool Store into a full-blown party destination, for an all-day techno fest headlined by Welsh legend Jamie Jones.

One of Victoria's largest wool store buildings, the sprawling 1940's warehouse promises a unique setting for this festival on Saturday, May 18. It'll be decked out with a world-class sound system, as well as an openair courtyard, complete with art installations, food and drink offerings and a second stage hosting local talent. Other artists set to take to the stages throughout the day include German singer-songwriter Meggy, Sydney electro artist Made in Paris and Melbourne's own Jordan Brando.

This high-energy event sees Jones recapture the spirit of the early-2000s East London warehouse parties that helped kick-start his global career.

The Wool Store #002 will run from 2–10pm.
