111 Sturt Street, Melbourne

As part of ACCA's ongoing 'Big Picture' series of exhibitions, which considers how contemporary art interacts with social, cultural and political debates today, Unfinished Business: Perspectives on Art and Feminism presents a wide array of feminist art practices.

Unfinished Business highlights numerous artists' approaches to gender identity, representation, intersectional politics, alongside the use of creative mediums such as performance, technology, humour, critique and text. The exhibition surveys these methods across the likes of painting, photography and film, plus wider ventures like community engagement and cultural activism.

For this major exhibition, ACCA has commissioned new works, while also presenting recent work, notable historical projects, plus an extensive program of films and performances. Unfinished Business will also be supported by a publication with contributions by prominent artists, theorists and art historians dating back to the 1970s.

Unfinished Business: Perspectives on Art and Feminism is a free exhibition at ACCA, running from Friday December 15 until Sunday March 25 2018.
