400 Gradi Is Launching Its New Yarra Valley Digs with a Weekend of Free Pizza

It seems that 400 Gradi is determined to make all your pizza dreams come true — first by making the best pizza in Oceania, then by creating the world's cheesiest 150-formaggio pizza and now by slinging its Neapolitan-style pizzas for free. We cannot imagine a more satisfying way for the brand to launch its new Yarra Valley digs, which will open in partnership with (and within) the Rochford Wines Yarra Valley estate.

The eatery will start firing up its ovens on on Saturday, October 27, but it's worth making the trip between Friday, November 2 and Monday, November 5. That's when dine-in customers can nab the kitchen's award-winning margherita pizzas without spending a dime. The extended weekend offer includes one pizza per two adults, with a maximum of three pies per table and no bookings allowed. That's one legit deal considering the restaurant's current status as the best pizza Aussies can get.

The margherita will be a showcase on the Yarra Valley menu, which has been curated by 400 Gradi founder Johnny Di Francesco and will include more signature pizzas, along with antipasto, pasta, sides and desserts. To complement the food, Rochford Wine sommeliers have carefully paired its premium drops with each dish — and the acclaimed 2017 Single Vineyard Isabella's Chardonnay and much loved 2018 Estate Rosé are both on the list. Though 400 Gradi is located within the Rochford estate, it will operate separately from the vineyard's Isabella restaurant.
