Overview
It's no secret that it's been a tough couple of years for many local businesses across Australia. And our thriving hospitality sector has felt the full effect of seemingly endless lockdowns, government restrictions and no tourists to fill seats. Right now, though, Uber Eats is helping restaurants' recovery efforts as life gets back to a new normal.
Uber Eats is encouraging diners to discover a new local by offering up to $12 off orders over $30 between Monday to Wednesday from a huge range of local spots, from Richmond to Ringwood to Reservoir. The only catch is that the offer is only available for Uber Pass members — if you're not already a member, it's $10 per month to sign up, meaning your monthly fee is fully cancelled out with just one order. Result.
Whether your Monday blues require a big order from Issan Thai Street Food in Footscray, your WFH day needs a lunch time fix from Bistro Morgan in Collingwood or Windsor or you need a cheeky sugar fix from Lukumades in West Melbourne or Carnegie, you'll be guaranteed to find something to suit any craving — with a delicious discount.
Not sure what you're in the mood for? Uber Eats has also recently gone live with a new feature on its pickup maps, which allows you to search using words or even food emojis. With so many spots to discover on Uber Eats, there's never been a better excuse to support the local businesses that are such an essential part of our diverse and vibrant cities.
