Old Lane Street Eats
Enjoy freakin' great bao at this charming China Town eatery.
Overview
Tucked into Perth's Chinatown, Old Lane Street Eats has long been serving up South-East Asian street food in Northbridge's Chinatown, and it's still one of the best-value feeds in the city. Think bao, satay skewers and curries, most of it gluten free, all of it affordable.
The Marmite chicken bao and banana leaf nasi lemak are standouts, but the menu runs deep into Malaysian classics, with most dishes under $15. It's BYO, so bring your own bottle, or order the Grandma Seasonal Street Brew if you're after something non-alcoholic.
Old Lane is an easy call for a quick bao between errands or a low-key dinner with friends — good food, fair prices, no fuss.
