Overview
Everyone loves a good Asian grocer, but Foodle is taking this concept to the next level. An Asian food emporium, the Highpoint venue spans Asian dining, fresh seafood, baked goods and ready-made-meals. It's part restaurant, part oyster bar, part Wagyu bakery, part dumpling den, part liquor store, part seafood monger. A bit of everything really.
Foodle opened in mid-2023 at Highpoint. The guy behind the project is David Loh, founder of big-name brands like Sushi Jiro, Old Beijing and Dragon Hotpot. Loh clearly saw a gap in the market for a venue that tries to fill literally every gap in the market, and Foodle is the result.
The basic idea of Foodle is to condense the entire Asian continent into a single venue. You can get imported supermarket goods from China, Vietnam, Japan and Korea. Wander through to find an Asian bakery, churning out housemade cakes, bread and pastries; or perhaps the handmade dumpling and noodle bar, with options to eat in or takeaway, is more to your liking. There's also an oyster counter and live seafood tanks ready to roll.
Foodle is open from 8am to 10pm every day. You'll find it on Level 3 inside Highpoint Shopping Centre.
