NYC-Inspired Hannah St Hotel Curates a Winter Getaway Around a Gourmand Malin + Goetz Candle
Cocktails inspired by a cosy scent, continental breakfasts and late check-out — this one checks all the winter staycation boxes.
Mulberry Group might run popular going-out venues like Lilac Wine and Hazel, but Hannah St is for the homebodies. This winter, the Southbank hotel has teamed up with cult apothecary brand Malin + Goetz on an accomodation package built around the lost art of winding down.
Founded in Manhattan in 2004, Malin + Goetz knows wind-down essentials. Uncomplicated yet fabulous scents run through a range of skincare, soaps, fragrances and candles. Now, one of them is entering a cocktail at Bar Hannah.

Inspired by Malin + Goetz's Dark Rum fragrance, Bar Manager Ryan Brandon swirls orange liqueur, bergamot and vanilla into Caribbean rum from Planteray (formerly called Plantation) to create a bespoke arrival cocktail for Hannah St's Wind Down package.
The two-day staycation will also include a daily European-inspired breakfast at Coupette (one of the hotel's five in-house venues), nightly turn-down service, and, of course, late check-out at 2pm. Guests take home a full-sized Dark Rum candle – a token to fold into the ritual of staying in on cold nights.

Upgrade to the Terrace Rooms or the Melbourne or Hannah suites, and you might not want to leave. That's okay, because drinks can be shaken, stirred and served privately in your room. Bonus: Hannah St Hotel robes are yours to keep.

The Wind Down by Malin + Goetz is available until Tuesday, August 30 at Hannah St Hotel. Head to the website for more information.
