For the next seven days, you can land up to 25 percent off 34 local and short-haul international destinations — giving you a budget-friendly excuse to take your annual leave.
If you're looking to escape the Australian winter, Virgin has some pretty value-packed international escape bundles to Indonesia. Travellers can bag return economy lite flights to Bali paired with four nights of accommodation starting from just $655 per person (based on two travellers) departing from both Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Canberra residents aren't missing out on the action either, with their own dedicated capital-to-island flight and four-night resort package starting at $689 per person.
If you're looking a little more locally, Queensland escapes that bundle return economy lite flights with two nights of accommodation aren't too bad either. Travellers can head north with a Brisbane to Cairns package starting from just $390 per person, or lock in a Newcastle to Brisbane city break from $429 per person (both based on two travellers).
Other standout interstate packages feature return flights and two nights of accommodation to Brisbane starting at $460 from Sydney and $500 from Melbourne. If a tropical escape is on the cards, two-night packages to Cairns are up for grabs from $430 departing Sydney and $479 departing Melbourne.
The discounts don't stop there though. Domestic one-way flights start as low as $49 (Sydney to Ballina/Byron Bay) and $65 (Sydney to Gold Coast), alongside $75 seats from Melbourne to Launceston and $99 routes connecting major hubs like Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Hobart. Holidayers looking for an island escape can also score bargain return Business Class seats to holiday hotspots, including Brisbane to Port Vila (Vanuatu) from $999 and Gold Coast to Bali from $2,199.
The sale starts today (July 20) and runs until midnight AEST on Monday, July 27, unless seats sell out sooner. Travel dates are scattered across a wide window between August 25 and June 9 next year, though blackout periods apply over peak school holidays. Fares are available across Economy Lite, Choice, and Business Class buckets, and can be bundled with hotel packages via the airline's holiday portal.
