Overview
There's no clear-cut answer as to how and where beer yoga began; some speculate that it was born at desert rave Burning Man, while plenty of others praise a group of Berlin hipsters.
To help you right last night's wrongs, Riverhead's Hallertau Brewery will host a 45-minute guided yoga session on Wednesday, 6 March. The bending session led by Same Sun Yoga will be a lighthearted class that is open to anyone who wants to have a refreshingly good time, balancing body, mind and tastebuds with a beverage in hand.
The $10 ticket price includes the class, while Hallertau beer will be available for $5 to sip between poses. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. The class starts at 6.15pm sharp. Bring your own mat if you have one.
