Cosmic Shambles

Not like a regular science talk, a cool science talk.

Overview

Two chemists go into a bar. The first one says "I think I'll have an H2O". The second one says "I think I'll have an H2O too", drank it and then died.

An explanation for those who didn't pay attention in science (I too had to look it up): H20 is the molecular formula for water. But H2O2 is the molecular formula for hydrogen peroxide, which will kill you if you drink it.

For those who get a kick out science-related puns, jokes and just science in general, Cosmic Shambles is coming to New Zealand for a live show and is hauling the likes of Matt Parker— a 'stand-up mathematician' (known on the circuit for his performances at Festival of the Spoken Nerd, and appearances on Numberphile and the Discovery Channel), Dr Helen Czerski— an oceoanographer and physicist as well as a regular science presenter on the BBC, Dr Michelle Dickinson— a science commentator, among others to entertain as well as educate your minds for one night only.

The Auckland show will also see Lawrence Arabia grace the stage as an extra treat.
