Not satisfied with nuzzling into cats and dogs? How do you like the idea of getting up close and personal with a bearded dragon? On Friday, 22 March, next generation neighbourhood Smales Farm is hosting an animal event for the curious.
Bug wranglers from West Auckland's Hands On Creatures will be bringing along their collection of exotic reptiles, amphibians, insects, spiders and creepy crawlies for all to see and hold. The company is known for hosting creature experiences — its current roster of beasties includes skinks, lizards, tarantulas, cockroaches, locusts and Avondale spiders.
Head down to Q4 (Outside Columbus) from 12-1.30pm for this alternative form of petting zoo.
