Overview

On the back of the their latest album Beast Vibrator, Japanese jet rock n' roll band Guitar Wolf will play six-dates in New Zealand, including shows in Christchurch, Port Chalmers, Whanganui, Wellington, Auckland and Mt Maunganui.

The trio comprising Seiji (Guitar Wolf), U.G. (Bass Wolf) and Toru (Drum Wolf) have made the journey to our fare land several times, the last being in 2011 where they treated audiences to speaker jumping, human pyramids and deafening guitar feedback. The band have also been known to incorporate comically oversized speakers and microphones that spew fire into their live shows and regularly play their set completely non-stop.

What's more, Guitar Wolf's 11th album Beast Vibrator was apparently written after some business on Mt Fuji involving wormholes, Space Battleships and a secret laboratory.
