Overview

The same week as hosting "New Zealand's biggest drive-in movie theatre," Mount Smart Stadium is set to present what is being called "the biggest plant market that Auckland has ever seen."

The Lilyworld Plant Market takes its name from the experimental stage at bygone music festival the Big Day Out. At the first plant market edition of Saturday, 28 November visitors will find all things plant related in the one spot.

Make your way on to the hallow turf and browse everything from indoor and outdoor plants to pots and plant-based products. Providing the goods will be Urban Botanist, Houseplant Hobbyist, Foliage Addiction, Crafty Cut Planters and Zino's Preserves, among plenty of others.

Entry is free and the stadium offers plenty of free parking so you don't have to wander far with your new plant babies. Most vendors will have Eftpos and accept direct credit bank transfer, too.

The plant market will run from 10am to 3pm.
