Overview

The rising Korean star of modern art Seung Yul Oh's latest playful exhibition Moamoa, A Decade, includes what looks like a deconstructed bouncy castle, Kinder eggs on steroids as well as some more serious audiovisual works and paintings. The exhibition's name, Moamoa, means 'gather gather' or 'gather together' in Korean.

Dubbed by the Guardian UK as "one of the rising stars of the Asian art market", Seung Yul Oh's last exhibition The Ability to Blow Themselves Up was an ongoing video/performance where participants were filmed blowing up balloons up until the point of explosion.

Moamoa, A Decade, will be showing at the City Art Gallery from May 31 until August 24. Gather together and have a look.
