Music in Parks
Spent your weekends this summer checking a run of free music events taking place across the city.
Overview
It's that time once again to shake out the picnic blanket, clean the chilly bin and hone your beverage concealment skills. The Auckland weather is finally turning it on, meaning it's time to get those feet into the grass and enjoy some sunshine. How better to do it than against the backdrop of some epic tunes?
Well, great news — the aptly named free outdoor concert series Music in Parks is back and doing exactly what it says on the tin. Every weekend from January through March, a run of free events will take place across the city, showcasing local and international music talent in lush surroundings.
All events are smoke and alcohol-free — as well as being free to attend. Gather up the whānau, pack a picnic, and get down to get down.
