Overview
The F Word. We’re not talking about the Gordon Ramsay television cooking show. It’s a sometimes funny, occasionally serious exploration into what feminism means in modern day New Zealand. Wellington’s BATS Theatre will host the premiere season of the semi-scripted play, as devised by Wellington Improv Troupe’s Best on Tap.
The performance piece follows a group of friends over a few years as they discuss feminism at dinner parties and struggle to put these ideals in place in their day-to-day life. With the group's experience in improvisation, the script is loose enough to allow for evolution and spur of the moment tangents.
