Overview

Held on the first Sunday of December every year, the Thorndon Fair is a celebration of creativity, community and the history of Thorndon. More than 20,000 visitors are expected to browse 250 stallholders at this year's edition on Sunday, 6 December, 2020.

Expect to find a range stalls hawking everything from homeware, art, jewellery and crafts to books, clothing and Christmas gifts. Thorndon School will also be hosting a second-hand bookstall, quick-fire raffle and senior students stalls for you to enjoy. Further, there'll be entertainment in the Premier House carpark and delicious food — from homemade fudge and sugary doughnuts to Greek souvlaki and European potato cakes.

A gold coin donation is requested on entry. All of the proceeds go straight towards resources and funding for Thorndon School.
