Overview

Flowers! Who doesn't love them?* Exactly. Which is why you should probably stroll over to Auckland's first ever dedicated flower market hosted by Viaduct Harbour between 8am and noon on Sunday the 22nd of March.

And because flower browsing is best enjoyed with a fresh coffee, some juice, tea or a couple of pastries, the Viaduct Harbour Flower Market has provided for that too. There will also be music by band called A Slice of Pineapple.

The Flower Market will return again on the 29th of March as well as the 5th of April. Same market, same pastries and drinks, different music: on the 29th Jim Langabeer & the Craig Williams Trio will be playing some jazz background music, while on the 5th acoustic band Twistin’ the Swing will fill the air with the sound of Gypsy jazz.

For those keen on getting their lady loves or friends or grandma a couple of botanicals to perfume their houses and warm their hearts, head along.

*That was a rhetorical question. There are probably people out there who don't, but we're quite certain that anyone who ended up clicking on this article is probably not a part of that faction.
