Whales
Drop everything, grab a bucket and save the (suspiciously human-like) whales.
Overview
Wellington experimental performance group Binge Culture Collective will bring their interactive performance piece Whales back to life.
The work will see a pod of "whales" stranded in Aotea Square, in need of help. People of all ages can save these majestic creatures from an untimely end, but they will need to work fast. The whales are in desperate need of buckets, wet towels and kind folk to look after them before the tide is high enough to attempt a refloat. Drop everything, grab a bucket and save the whales.
The piece aims to test and subvert New Zealand culture. It was named winner of Best in Fringe at the New Zealand Fringe 2013.
