ANDY'S BURGERS & BAR, AUCKLAND CBD
Located in SkyCity, Andy's has become an inner city go-to for burgers, beer and just about everything else in between. Head to Andy's between 11am and 2pm and grab $1 wings with any burger (or Sumthin' Else) purchased. There's a minimum of four wings which will be easy to get through. Andy's wings are brined for 24 hours, covered in buttermilk and then tossed in seasoned flour and fried. Choose between a buttery hot sauce with blue cheese dip or the sticky honey soy with sesame and lemon.
THE CULPEPER, PRINCES WHARF
The Culpeper is a great spot for an after-work drink. With a great selection of beer, wine and cocktails, this waterfront eatery has garnered itself a loyal following. And it's no wonder, with Executive Chef Gareth Stewart at the helm, curating a menu full of fresh seafood and mouthwatering barbecue. On Monday nights after 6pm, the irresistible hot wings are $1 each, until they sell out. The restaurant does recommend booking so grab your crew and make a night of it.
FRANC'S BAR & DINER, TAKAPUNA
For those over the bridge, there's no shortage of great food. Takapuna is known for its great eateries, including Franc's Bar & Diner. Located a few steps from Takapuna Beach, the views are unparalleled, whether it's sunrise or sunset. To make things better, every Monday you can order Franc's XXL Wings for $1 each. Featuring a menu designed for chicken lovers, Birdie's has an inviting atmosphere and cleverly designed interior. Little Easy always knows how to bring the party. A Ponsonby Road favourite, the music is always pumping and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Little Easy's philosophy is to bring back the charms of yesteryear and celebrate an easiness to life. Part of the simple yet delicious menu are free-range buffalo wings.
