Finalists Announced for the 2014 New Zealand Music Awards

The votes are in and the finalists for country's annual music awards have been revealed. The nominees were announced at an invite-only finalists ceremony in Auckland last week, alongside recipients of the Technical Awards.

Joel Little suitably accepted his pair of gongs with video acceptance speeches set against landmarks in both New York and Los Angeles. He took out Best Engineer and Best Producer for his work on Lorde's Pure Heroine.

Best Album Artwork went to Anna Taylor and Ken Clark for the striking portrait of Liam Finn on the cover of his latest album ‘The Nihilist’ and funk-rock mega-band Supergroove were announced as recipients of this year's Legacy Award.

The 49th annual NZ Music Awards will take place at Vector Arena in Auckland on November 20, 2014. See the full list of finalists below...
