It's shaping up to be another blinder in Gizzy.

Steamrolling into their 15th year, organisers of Rhythm and Vines forecast another sellout event. With over 75 percent the festival's campsites already allocated — all without even announcing a single artist — they're not far off. It's shaping up to be another blinder in Gizzy.

For those that managed to secure tickets early, and those who were waiting to find out if Netsky would make another appearance, we can now confirm that the first artist lineup has dropped.

Leading the bill for 2017 is Schoolboy Q. The Los Angeles bucket hat swag-king lands at Waiohika Estate after shows in New Zealand last year and recent performances at Splendour in the Grass and Coachella.

Guernsey producer and 'Love Sick' hitmaker mura masa is also due for an appearance, as are Belgium electronic superstars 2manydjs who will bring their full live show back to Gisborne. Also returning to "the first festival to see the sun" will be R&V alumni: Baauer, Wilkinson and, because it wouldn't be right without him, Netsky.

Taking things back to where it started is an impressive roll call of local artists. The first release of Kiwi acts welcomes: David Dallas, Sachi, Jess B, Chores, Clicks, Yoko Zuna, SNIFFERS, Ria Hall, Montell2099, and the "Prince of Waiohika" P-Money.

The Giggle and Vines comedy segment will also return to bring some relief to the morning after.
