L.A.B, The Avalanches and The Temper Trap Will Headline 2023's Spring City Festival in Auckland Domain

Spring City is coming back to Auckland Domain for a second time, with beloved New Zealand band L.A.B set to headline the epic day out.

On Saturday, November 25, the picturesque venue will be turned into a mecca of music, complete with a main stage, exclusive VIP area and the city's top food vendors, which festivalgoers can enjoy while soaking up the views surrounding the area — like Rangitoto, the stunning Auckland Museum and the Sky Tower.

Both international and local acts will be joining L.A.B on the Spring City stage, including indie rock group The Temper Trap, who will be heading across the ditch for the festival — as will The Avalanches, who will perform a DJ set.

Pop duo Foley, electro-house group Hotel Tropic, DJ MissB and George FM's Beccie B complete the homegrown talent for the festival, with British disco act Joy (Anonymous) ending the night with a disco house bang.

Spring City is an important performance for L.A.B, who have not performed in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years, since selling out Western Springs stadium and Mount Smart Stadium.

The band just completed its first-ever US tour, and will be heading through the UK and Europe in October before coming home just in time for Spring City. Fans can expect L.A.B to indulge them in a few of their old classics, ahead of their sixth studio album, which is set for release later in 2023.

The team behind Spring City is also giving back to its neighbours at Auckland City Hospital, by hosting the hospital's hardworking Starship nurses at the event as well as offering up tickets for fundraising.

Spring City Festival 2023 takes place on Saturday, November 25 at Auckland Domain.
