Overview

Join a lineup of some of Wellington's best indie music groups for an unforgettable night of alternative rock music at Wellington Museum. After Hours: She Shreds is a rockin' event featuring an assortment of female-identifying guitarists, bass players and drummers as well as local emerging artists and bands.

From 7.30pm, you'll be greeted with a lineup of DJs, followed by Kiwi rock duo Hex who label their sound as "witch-rock", dark and sinister, gritty and ethereal, feminine and masculine. Joining Hex will be other local acts such as Womb, Linen, Mr Sterile Assembly and Oonaverse — all groups specialise in moody and dark sounds which create a unique atmosphere and vibe.

She Shreds is the perfect event for people interested in the Wellington indie music scene or those who are simply curious to branch out their music taste and experience something a bit different. With ticket prices starting at $10 and a cash bar to indulge in, this event is an affordable and unmissable night of grooving to the sounds of Wellington's best electronic punk bands.
