Amalia & Friends — Orchestra Wellington
New Zealand's oldest regional orchestra has released 400 more tickets to its previously sold-out run of koha concerts.
Overview
Orchestra Wellington is celebrating New Zealand's move to Alert Level 1 by releasing 400 more tickets to its previously sold-out series of koha concerts.
The concerts (June 13, 14 and 20) will see New Zealand's leading international solo violinist Amalia Hall return to St Andrew's on the Terrace in June. Mozart's sunniest music will be on show, including violin concerti no. 3, 4 and 5, and symphonies 31 ('Paris'), 38 ('Prague') and 36 ('Linz'). These will be Orchestra Wellington's first concerts since the pandemic lockdown.
All concerts are essentially free, however Orchestra Wellington will be taking donations at the door on the night. The suggested koha is $10. Tickets must be booked at orchestrawellington.co.nz.
