Overview

Roni Size (Ryan Owen Granville Williams) is a record producer and DJ hailing from Britain. He emerged as the founder and leader of drum and bass collective Reprazent in 1997. Their album New Forms won the Mercury Prize in that same year. In October of 2000 Reprazent's second album In the Mode included guest vocals from Method Man (Wu-Tang Clang) and Zack de la Rocha (Rage Against the Machine). Later Williams produced his own solo ablum that included 16 tracks segued into one hour sets. In 2008 Reprazent reformed and began touring some of the biggest festivals in Europe including Bestival, Glastonbury, Lovebox, EXIT and Rock Herk. During their time together on tour they were nominated for Best Dance Act from the UK Festival Awards.

Roni Size will be accompanied by Dynamite MC, a hip-hop influenced musician and an original member of the Reprazent collective. Dynamite MC (Dominic Smith) shared the success of Reprazent with his fellow musician Roni Size however he also spent some time away from the group performing on his own and collaborating with the likes of High Contrast, Caspa, Netsky and Andy C. His influences during Reprazent is most prominent in the album "The the Mode" as the material is mostly hip-hop influenced.
