Overview

Hey, hey, it's the Monkeys. The Arctic Monkeys. And they are hitting Wellington this week.

The U.K four-piece rose to angular-guitar stardom in 2006 with their debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not becoming the fastest-selling debut album in British music history - selling 363,753 copies in its first week.

The band's latest album AM, which features musical cameos from Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme and Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder-Jones of The Coral, is their first to hit #1 in both New Zealand and Australia.
