It is just days away from the event that brings the capital's cutest community together. There is everything from food, to craft, to oddities, so, 2019's Aro Fair is a day that deserves not to be missed. This much loved valley fair has a star-studded local lineup and a barn dance to bring the evening home. Celebrate the end of summer in community style.

One of the fair's crowd-drawing events, the Arolympics, will see teams battle on the grassy knoll for the champion title. Teams are invited to take part in a day of activities to show their worth, and the family-friendly lighting of the torch will take place on Friday night.

Sports not your thing? There's a ridiculous amount still on offer, with live music and a chockablock offering of stalls. There's no better way to spend a day than celebrating all that makes Aro the vibrant valley we all love.
