Overview

What goes better with an ice-cold beer than some seriously good live music and a whole lot of outrageously tasty eats? Beers at the Basin is a celebration of Kiwi beer, food, music, community and conversation — and it's the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon in November.

Enjoy a cold beverage from any number of New Zealand's best breweries, such as Garage Project, Parrot Dog, Fortune Favours and many others who are expected to have a special releases for the occasion. Or sample some of the cider and wine options available too. With plenty of delicious eats to accompany your beer, you'll be leaving this event with a very full belly. Expect to find an array of tasty snacks, from tacos and roti to mac and cheese and barbequed meats.

This iconic Wellington event wouldn't be complete without an excellent lineup of Kiwi artists to enhance the mood. You'll be dancing before you know it as Same Name Confusion, Dictaphone Blues, Louis Baker, Lost Tribe Aotearoa and Raw Collective take the stage.

Grab your picnic blankets and your favourite beer-loving friends and head on down to the Basin Reserve this November.
