Overview

Upper Hutt's bustling home of craft beer, Brewtown, is home to five award-winning breweries and taprooms, including Panhead Custom Ales, Boneface Brewing Company, Kereru, Te Aro Brewing, Good George, plus the Wild Kiwi distillery.

This October, the craft beer theme park will be hosting a hybrid Oktoberfest and Halloween edition of BrewDay 2020. The celebration of great beer, food, wine, cider and music from the capital will be held on October 31, closing out this year's Wellington On a Plate.

The onsite breweries will be joined by the likes of Double Vision Brewing, Mean Doses, Liberty Brewing and Fortune Favours to name but a few. The Brewtown venue is located just 40-minutes from the centre of Wellington in the sprawling South Pacific Industrial park. Entry to the event is $35.

Visa Wellington On a Plate is set to return for its 12th year from 1–31 October with more than 100 flavour-packed events, special dining menus, burgers and craft cocktails.
