Overview

Upper Hutt's bustling home of craft beer, Brewtown, is home to five award-winning breweries and taprooms, including Panhead Custom Ales, Boneface Brewing Company, Kereru, Te Aro Brewing, Good George, plus the Wild Kiwi distillery.

This May, the craft beer theme park is bringing its frothy pours to the big smoke as part of BrewDay 2021. The celebration of great beer, food, wine, cider and music from the greater Wellington region will be held on Saturday, May 8 across both TSB Arena and Shed 6 on Queens Wharf.

There will be two sessions to choose from, including both four-hour daytime and evening events. Brewtown's onsite breweries will be joined by the likes of Double Vision Brewing, Sawmill Brewing, Juicehead Beer, Garage Project, Mean Doses and Fortune Favours to name but a few.

Food is another core element of the event. There'll be plenty to choose from between beer pours, including bite-sized Dutch pancakes, modern Malaysian dishes, German-inspired low 'n' slow barbecue, authentic Mexican cuisine and hefty burgers.

General entry to the event is $35 and beer servings will range from $2 for tastes and from $5 up to $10 for full pours.
