All-Out Easter Chocolate High Tea
This sweet high tea is serving up three tiers of chocolate-infused treats.
QT Wellington's Hippopotamus is best-known for its indulgent themed high tea services. For its first seasonal offering of the year, the restaurant and cocktail bar is swapping out cucumber sandwiches and tea scones to present three tiers of cocoa-inspired cuisine.
That means a selection of sweet and savouries all leveraging on Valrhona's variety of chocolate flavours. There'll be black cocoa crusted wild venison, a chocolate stout beef cheek pie, a dark chocolate and dulcey choux and 72 percent dark chocolate scones. See the full menu here.
The high tea sittings will run every Saturday and Sunday from 13 March to 4 April. The service will set you back $41 per person or $47 including a glass of champagne. Bookings are essential.
