Overview

Take your sweet tooth and love for chocolate to the next level and immerse yourself in an oh-so-sweet experience at Te Auaha – Tapere Iti (Little Theatre) on Dixon Street. With live music, dance, theatre and performances all themed around our favourite decadent sweet.

Take a journey into the world of interpretive dance and learn about the wonders of cacao. The performers will take you back from the foil-wrapped chocolate bar all the way to the cacao bean and everything in between. Not only is this a chance to watch incredible performances from local creatives but a great opportunity to learn a thing or two about chocolate.

This show is choreographed by Kiwi creative Sacha Copland with original live music by Tristan Carter and Charley Davenport. It's also in collaboration will some of New Zealand's best creators of chocolate, Wellington Chocolate Factory and La Petite Chocolat.

This chocolate-inspired performance and sensory experience is simply unmissable. For those who crave chocolate on a daily basis and simply can't resist that extra bite, sink your teeth into Chocolate at Tapere Iti this July.
