Overview

2017's launch of The Vegan Vault night market saw many herbivore hearts skip a beet with joy. Since then, the monthly event has moved to Clyde Quay School to become an established all-vegan and cruelty-free night market event.

For its December appearance, The Vegan Vault is hosting a Christmas-themed edition. While the vendor announcements will be made leading up to the event, attendees can expect a festive raffle upon arrival and live music from James Carroll.

Vendors are typically kept under wraps until days before, but if past events are anything to go by you can expect Sweet Release Cakes and Treats, plant-based goodness from the likes of Taco Addicts, authentic Ethiopian food from Chala Creation, potstickers from I Love Dumplings and curry from Roti Bay.

Although the food is a central focus, the market also showcases local "animal-friendly" charities, advocacy groups and cruelty-free merchandise stores. These groups come together to create a sense of community rarely seen at such an event. To add to the humming atmosphere there is a central eating area in front of a live music stage. All in all, it will be an tasty evening with friends and the perfect chance to swap recipes with strangers.

So turnip and get a bellyful.
