Overview
To celebrate the release of their new EP, Drax Project are hosting taster night filled with funky tunes, good vibes and of course, Prefab pizza.
The four piece band who started off doing late night busking sessions in the middle of Wellington City are now entertaining crowds on the stage. A blend of hip-hop and alternative beats, these dudes draw inspiration from the likes of James Blake, Hudson Mohawke, Dr Dre and Flying Lotus. After playing to a sold out audience at San Fran for their debut EP, Drax Project later went on to play at festivals such as Rhythm and Vines, Rhythm and Alps and Homegrown. 2015 has seen Drax Project writing and recording a full album and touring nationally and internationally.
Prefab will have the pleasure of hosting the night and the chefs will be making pizzas all night - so if you like your beats served with a side of pizza, head on over.
